HOW TO USE A LOUPE MAGNIFIER
The world-renowned BelOMO Loupe - HERE or HERE
WHERE TO USE THE LOUPE - LIGHTING AND LOCATION
Find a good place in your home or office with plenty of light. The best light is color corrected to match natural sunlight. But people often find that a desk lamp is good enough for home use.
OPEN THE LOUPE
Unfold or slide the loupe open from its case until it is fully unfolded. Pick up the loupe in your right hand (left if left-handed)while placing one of your fingers through the case opening as a brace. This will make it easier to steadily hold the loupe and slightly move it to achieve focus.

HOLD AND FOCUS THE LOUPE
Hold the loupe up close to your eye - about an inch or so away. Steady your loupe hand against your cheek.
Start by holding your loupe about an inch or so from your eye and then holding the object that you are viewing about an inch or so from the loupe. Then, as needed, get optimum focus by moving the object either closer or farther from the loupe.
To obtain and maintain the optimum focus, you can keep your hands steady by bracing or leaning them against each other.
Practice using your loupe on a few small objects to get a better feel for the distance the loupe must be from your eye and from the object being magnified.
It will not take long to figure out the best way to hold it. After that you'll be hooked. You'll be looking at every coin or stamp or photo or rock or piece of jewelry or gold or silver that you can find!
