How to attach your BelOMO CUSTOM LANYARD to your BelOMO LOUPE
Just use a screwdriver to loosen a screw on that end of the case and then rotate the case cover to access the post.
If, upon retightening the screw, you find that the screw will not sufficiently tighten, then just use a bit of something like threadlocker on the threads.
Please use the threadlocker that allows you to remove or turn the screws again in the future (instead of the threadlocker that really locks the screws and makes the screws immovable in the future). PERMATEX is the brand of threadlocker that always works really well for me. Choose the MEDIUM strength because it allows screws to be removed again in the future. is a blue liquid that comes in a blue plastic bottle.Also, sometimes lanyard buyers think the lanyard is sewn wrong because it does not lie flat on a table.Note: If the lanyard were sewn to lie flat on the table, then the lanyard would not lie flat on the chest--because of the fact that it must go around the neck. For example, just drape a flat belt around your neck to get an idea of how the lanyard and the attached loupe would hang if the lanyard were sewn to lie flat on a table. Such a lanyard would not lie flat on your chest.
But the lanyard should not lie flat on a table. Why? Because, remember, the lanyard is designed to be worn around the neck. Read on for explanation....
With the loupe attached to the lanyard, place the lanyard around your neck with the black fabric side out.
When in place around your neck, the lanyard will hang downward flat on your chest, and the BelOMO loupe will hang so that the word "BelOMO" (that is on the loupe) will also face outwards. (If the words on the loupe are facing your body, the loupe is hanging backwards, so, in that case, use the snap on the lanyard to reverse the loupe.)
